ORDINANCE NO. 119


AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 93
TO AMEND SECTION 3.05 ORDER OF BUSINESS;
TO AMEND SECTION 6.03(a) CORRESPONDENCE FROM THE DISTRICT
AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 118



WHEREAS, the Brooktrails Township Community Services District Board of Directors annually reviews its rules and procedures for operation of the Board itself as presently specified in Ordinance No. 93; and,


WHEREAS, the Board of Directors feels that minor adjustments to their operating procedures are in order.


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF BROOKTRAILS TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Section 3.05 of Ordinance No. 93 is hereby amended to read as follows:

a.    Pledge of Allegiance
b.    Roll Call
c.    Additions/Adjustments to the Agenda
d.    Minutes of Previous Meetings
e.    Special Presentations
f.    Public Hearings
g.    Public Comments
h.    Consent Calendar

j.    Special Reports

General Manager will report on significant activities within the District including, but not limited to the following:
i.         Significant Correspondence received since last meeting:
ii.         Personnel
iii.         Finance
iv.         Planning
v.         Possible upcoming agenda items
vi.         Other

k.    Public Comments
l.    Adjournment
The order of business appearing on the posted agenda may not be changed except by majority vote of the Board. Agendas shall be prepared and posted as required by law by the General Manager. Board members desiring items on the agenda shall notify the General Manager prior to 12:00 noon of the working day prior to the day on which the agenda must be posted. The General Manager and District Counsel may add items to the agenda prior to 12:00 noon on the day on which the agenda must be posted.



Section 2. Section 6.03(a) of Ordinance No. 93 is hereby amended to read as follows:


(a) The General Manager may originate and sign correspondence with regard to the following matters without reference to the Board: (1) Actions directed by the Board; (2) Accomplishment of items included in the annual budget as adopted and amended; (3) Ongoing activities that involve other agencies, persons or businesses and (4) To make factual corrections to known errors in the newspaper or other publically circulated documents. As used herein, General Manager shall include personnel reporting to the General Manager when such personnel are serving in the capacity of Acting General Manager.

Section 3. Ordinance No. 118 is hereby repealed.


This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after its adoption. Within fifteen days after its adoption, the District Secretary shall post copies of this Ordinance on the bulletin board in three places within the District as follows: the District Office, the Community Center, and the Golf Pro Shop.


INTRODUCED on the 9th day of July, 2002 at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Brooktrails Township Community Services District.


ADOPTED this 23rd day of July, 2002 at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Brooktrails Township Community Services District by the following vote:


AYES: Directors: Pohlson, Horrick, Venturi, Orth, Skezas
NOES: Directors: None
ABSENT: Directors: None
